SSD would be nice! I noticed it was huge for mine. I had it, then took it out and used a WD Blue. Very noticeable.
Well I want to be able to just set the rig up and call it a day pretty much. I won't be having time to do any sort of benching and stressing different overclocks so I figured I would just get the best 570 I could and do a semi-mild OC on the CPU to avoid any stability issues after I hand it over.

Not sure if I see the one you are talking about. Could you give me a link please if you see it? And as far as I have experience, any of the UD boards have some of the best VRMs available. Don't really know what you mean by "It does not have VRM." Could you explain, please? Maybe I'm missing something here.

get GIGABYTE GA-P67A-UD3P-B3 instead, this will give her USB3, where as the UD3 does not have it. You should be able to do 4.6-4.8 pretty easily and be rock stable, or hell just use Easy Tune. but with the rendering I would say she will be better off with a 2600k.

I just looked up about the vdroop issue with the one I picked earlier. I am going to change it now.

Thanks!

EDIT: Unavailable.

How about the GA-P67A-UD4-B3? it is $50 more but i think she will be able to live with that

EDIT2: WTH? None of these GB board come with firewire support? that just might be a deal breaker and I might have to look at another brand.

Follow either sins guide or Dinos did a youtube OC guide that is pretty spot on. If your really worried about power phases take a look at the UD4.

How about the MSI P67A-GD55 (B3)? I have never used MSI but I know they make some good quality boards. It has a sexy UEFI-style BIOS I really want to check out too.

should be ok, I have never used them either and know jack about their support. All i know is their AMD boards were catching on fire, which made me steer away from them.

Their support was good (to me at least). I had problems updating the BIOS on my board from last year and they helped me out quick n easy. I don't know much about their actual warranties though. Go either with that one or with the ASUS P8P67 PRO, I've seen a lot of buzz about that board lately.

I changed it to the MSI board. There is a monster thread here at OCN and quite a few very good reviews of it around, so I'm sure it will do the job nicely.

And rep+ to all of you that helped. I really didn't expect to get so much help and so many posts so quickly.
