Best to go for water then if you want high performance cooling.

As for the lack of a mounting kit, also an oddity as I never heard anyone missing out on an AM3 mounting kit with a SA, they come standard.

well the thing with that is im not to good on keeping up on somthing lol so full blown water might not be to good for me and i dont want somthing blowing up on me as far as i have read with the h70 its maintance free and thay have had very little that have had issues and what ones i have read did have had there stuff replaced. so thats why i was kinda thinking air or just that im not looking for somthing to keep it super super coor just somthing a little better then stock

Well if you can afford a H70, and don't want the issue of RAM obstructing the fan, you could also go for an Archon. It's quieter than SA/D14, cools a bit less though, but only by a few C off (still one of the best air coolers). I think it should fit in your HAF 922.

I got a HAF 932, and I know my SA is about 160mm tall, the Archon is 170mm tall. But even with my case I got around 20mm of space between the top of the SA to the side panel, I think Archon will fit in your 922.

I vote for H70!

#1 Affordable water/hybrid cooler
#2 super easy to install
#3 temps are very good
#4 performs better or witthin a few degrees of the best air coolers on the market.
