This tool does not bring enough to the table... I would like screenshots on max settings in game and max settings with this tool to see if there is any difference!

What do you mean? Its just a game configurator. It brings more configurable options to the user, nothing more nothing less. More choice is always a good thing.

My point exactly. Funny within 3 days the modders can make a change like this where as the dev's cannot? OR will not for some reason?

1. That reason is why i will not pay full price.

2. The first crysis was worth $20, and thats what i paid for it.

I will not pay over 25 for crysis 2. Valve is the first company that popped in my mind if i would pay full price for a game.

I have to agree, i will not be buying Crysis until the price drops, it's not worth 60$

The tool simply gives you access to a variety of different graphics settings which would otherwise be off-limits due to Crytek's decision to offer only a few vaguely-named presets to choose from. With the tool, you can use the tool to see each individual setting (HDR and Bloom level for example) and change it to your liking instead. The visual quality should be practically identical when maxing out the game using either the in-game settings or the third-party application (with the only difference being that the latter gives you the option to enable other forms of AA other than Temporal AA).

Windowsformapplication2 has stopped working. Doesn't work for me frown.gif

Seemingly all it is is a UI to choose settings for an autoexec

very bad sig...
i dont agree with it....
crysis 2 is a gud game....
and frankly i wasn't hoping for even this level of gfx and optimizations when i heard crytek is going multiplatform....
so i still feel gud as im getting a non ported crysis sequel which is better than having a crappy port or no game for pc at all....at least crytek till now has not behaved like many other producers...who make console exclusives or release pc version after 1-2 years and even then dont optimize it.....
in all these respects i dont mind lower gfx for a gud game....
and its my request to u(i think most will agree to me) that we want to see future crysis titles on pc,so please dont make people join such cause which may reduce the possiblity of crysis 3 on pc......mad.gif
as u know nowadays pc game devs just need a slightest bit of excuse to stop developing games for the pc platform........mad.gif

and no offence i know crytek did not deliver what it promised....but seeing the trend it was going to happen.... frown.gif

Stay positive. We will get patches and fixes and even new updates with the config.

Game feels like PC once again to me with the config. Amazing.

I can play the latest Crysis maxed out easily (with a single 5850 right now) but not Warhead or Crysis 1? I was hoping for more.

Basically the tool does autoexec cfg tweaking, which could be used to achieve the same degree of individual control crysis 1 had w.r.t volumetric effects etc. into crysis 2. It improves nothing, it's great for people like me that don't value shadow quality much, it eats frames and I'd much rather have higher performance elsewhere or higher frames overall.
