Crysis Warhead is a notoriously nvidia-biased game. It just runs better on nvidia hardware. It is especially bad with multiple ati gpus so since the 6990 is a multi-gpu card, that could be a problem. With that being said, 30 fps seems very low for a 6990. Have you tried running it in other graphically intensive games? What settings are you running crysis at?

Maybe it's your psu? overclocked 6990 is power hungry monster and u have highly overclocked i7 chip in there as well.

or the reason could be that your overclock on 6990 is not stable. try reverting back to the stock clocks and then run the game.

yeah it sounds like the problem might be that it is an ati card running crysis. Try lowering you anti-aliasing. Hopefully changing that will make your fps skyrocket.

Odd. I'm running Crysis/Crysis Warhead on my 6990 flawlessly no matter what level. Minimum FPS is well above 40 in all situations. Heck, when it does drop to that number, it's usually because of my CPU, as my GPU usage drops below 90%.

And it can't be a PSU issue either, since I'm running my CPU/GPU OC'ed with little difficulty on my measly HX620.

I'm on 11.4 March 23 Preview drivers and 11.3 CAP2's. What drivers are you using?
