You've actually only gone from 1.2MB available vram to 1.5MB. Just so you know.

Grat's on the purchase though

Edit: just read the whole thread, and saw ^^^ this point was mentioned above already. ANYways, yeah. 1.5MB. Sorry dude.

It works exactly the same with Crossfire as it does w/SLI ... if that makes you feel any better

I almost pulled the trigger on the Asus one today. Had it sitting in my cart all day and finally they sold out. I really wanted one, but I have two HD6970's sitting here and it's a lot of money. I am so jealous. Congrats on the buy and enjoy it, I know you will. I wouldn't worry about the vram. If you find it's an issue, just buy another one and go quad. You are going to love multi-monitor if you don't already have it. The extra space is nice, especially on games like CIV V. Anyway, again, congrats and enjoy. Need to see some benches ASAP.

Not to be a buzzkill but that won't actually help. Quad-SLI, despite all it's processing power, is still limited to the same 1.5GB VRAM bottleneck.

Palit seems to be the only manufacturer that really looks out for high res nVidia gamers

Still, I wouldn't get too down on the card til you actually try it!

Yeaa i know =/ Unfortunately i love being able to max out my games and it sucks i still cant do it even with this beast. I love the visuals. Half the reason it takes me a lot longer to finish campaigns haha. Guess ill just have to get used to it. I can't wait for it though.

On a better note my EK block is on the way as well!
