Crysis 2=GREAT - Page 5

Guys guys.. there is a config out now you can disable Bloom and reduce HDR settings and MAX everything in CRYSIS 2. Oh man it feels SO much like a PC game now that it doesn't have a console feel anymore especially with that annoying BLOOM overkill.

There are MINOR bugs but if you wanna mess with it and experience a great crysis 2 game with actual graphic tweaks. Here ya go. This will change your mind how crysis 2 is so far. I still agree Crysis 1 is the best still.

This game is incredible. And at like 90FPS at 1920 x 1200 no less. Oh my God, I missed PC gaming. This is my first build and game since Return To Castle Wolfenstein... biggrin.gif

I completely agree with OP!

Its an extremely fun game and It definitely makes it on the top of the year charts.
I love everything about the game INCLUDING the graphics.
I have played the first trilogy, but Im not comparing these graphics to that of the first, so having said that, Crysis 2 has GREAT graphics compared to other similar games.

The storyline is great, game play is fun, love the gun handling and how you look when your in mid-air and firing/or just in mid-air. The cinematics are drool.gif. They aren't over dramatic and flow greatly with the game.

On a 6850 @1920x1080 High settings, I never ever in a million years dip below 60fps. They were NO settings in Crysis 1 that would allow me to do that. I would give almost any amount of graphic detail for a solid 60fps. This game, for that reason, looks better on MY computer then the first.

BUT NO, IT SUKS RIGHT! mad.gif

"No DX11 support"
"Can be maxed out on ONE video card, WTH???!?!?!"
"Doesn't justify my $3000 computer."
"ITZ A C0NSOL3 P0RT, DAMB CRYT3K!!!!!"

Yes, it is dumb that you can't change individual settings(ironic as Cry1 was the most graphic intense game of it's time), but to regard this game as garbage and as a disappointment for this and DX11 alone is ridiculous. It's kind of funny that everyone excepts a benchmark rather then a game, from well.........a game rolleyes.gif.

The game is fun. It's one of the funest games I've played in the past year. If your going to judge entirely on graphics, then your just being a snob.

Sorry but it's kind of contradictory that around half of what you like about the game is how it visually presents itself, then you bare your teeth and call people snobs because they won't accept that a much later game has taken no steps forward in the graphics department. It's a double standard.

I like the gameplay but if you say the graphics in Crysis don't matter then you're a little confused, which is worse than accepting certain things.

And yes, I've played crysis 2 but I'm clearly just pissed off that my own copy hasn't arrived yet (ordered a month ago from HMV.co.uk, so yeah).

Just got done playing about 2 hours of the multiplayer and loved it...I thought the graphics are great...No real complaints here...

I think I have found the game to set me free of my WoW addiction...Feels good to be unplugged...

I don't need my suit to tell me how to accomplish a task. I am not 5 years old anymore. The graphics are about the same as a cod game. The leaning left or right has been taken away. The gameplay feels clumsy. It feels as if little effort has been put in. I am just disappointed.

This is exactly every problem I have with the game.

Surprised no one quoted you and talked about it, probably because they have no come backs.

Also if you didnt play the original Crysis your opinion means nothing (IMO)
