"... Marshaling the Fleet..."

Come on - You know You loved the game.

But, that was back in the TNT II days. I can get Homeworld to run just fine (happy tears), but for the life of me I cannot get Homeworld 2 to even try to start.

1) Yes, it is installed
2) Yes, I have updated to v1.1
3) Yes, Homeworld2.iso is mounted

I keep on getting an error message - "Wrong disk inserted. Retry/Cancel".

So...

4) Yes, I dl'ed a different ISO.

This could be just a "me" thing. I wonder, am I the only space invader out there that is stuck on this game series? Has anyone else been able to play Homeworld 2 on Win7 64 Bit? If so - What did You do?

I have an ISO of Homeworld 1 and 2.
Homeworld 1 runs without any changes/patches/mods.
Homeworld 2 doesn't run at all.

I am asking if anyone else has gotten Homeworld 2 to run on Win 7, and if so - how?

"I am assuming You are not familiar with Relic Entertainment's Homeworld Series of Games?"
"Marshaling the Fleet" could be heard announcing out of my speakers in 2006 almost daily.

Damn you for reminding me of those games! I would do quite a bit to play Homeworld again... nothing has stood up to it, in my eyes.

I wonder where I can pick #2 up... I haven't a clue as to where they went all those years ago. If I can find a copy, I'll try it out on my rig when I get back home (out of state for the next few days).
