For my setp up i7950 and Rampage 3 EX

whats better hgiher mhz ram (9-9-9-9-24)

With triple channel it's a bit harder. untless you're benching stick with what you have.

P.S with that setup i'd be more inclined with a good soundcard or what you need more importantly a good PSU.

Well I wouldn't say that's entirely true. For gaming 4-6GB is plenty, so the best option is to get the fastest ram with the lowest timings

I went from 3gb//2000mhz to 12gb//1600mhz and i would still take the 12gb over faster 6gb
