and atm i have my CPUcore at 3150MHZ
FSB: 1400.00(QRD) MHz
Memory: 700.00 (DDR2) Mhz
SPP PCI-E 2500.00 MHZ
MCP PCI-E 2500.mhz
GPU Memory 135.00 MHz

Voltages
CPU: 1.4
Memory: 1.85
FSB 1.4
HT(SPP-MCP): 1.2
PCI-E : 1.4
nForce: 1.5
Aux: 1.5

bout to run a stress test on that with prime and see if its stable

I ran the stress test with the same voltages about but at 3GHz for about 3hrs Temp stayed about 48-50c on the CPU gonna try it again with this setup and hopefully it stays stable and comments or more help will be appriciated thanks again to all of you that are assisting me
nice temps
i have an older B3 Q6600 and i am at 3.3Ghz with 1.39vcore (in bios)
if yours is a G0 revision (use cpu-z to see) then you could keep going to about 3.6ghz depending on vid and temps.
as you are at 1.4vcore already you should be able to get around 3.3-3.4ghz on that vcore (but not all cpu's are equal)

i know you have done some of it already but

this is a very basic explanation of overclocking

its basic maths. your Q6600 is rated at 1066mhz. you always divide this number by 4 so 1066/4= 266, this is your fsb.
then your processor (cpu) has a multiplier of 9
so 266 x 9 = 2394mhz or 2.4GHz, = stock speed

so 3.6 is 400 x 9 (1600mhz) or 450 x 8 (1800 mhz)

your ram is at 700mhz.
if your ram is 800mhz stock speed you have it underclocked.
i always unlink the ram. so it stays at stock speed and cannot interfere with the cpu

Ok so I want to unlink the RAM but in the step by step I did, it told me to choose the sync option so I'm not sure how to change that and keep a stable setting past what I have now

Turn off Sync mode, that is how you "unlink" the ram...

You want your ram running at 800MHz or lower til your CPU is stable, then try raising the Ram freq...

ok i get that, but after i unlink it, what do i set my ram to to get it to 800mhz? cause i think i may use a multiplier as well, ill have to check, and then once i unlink it and set it to the 800mhz will it effect my stability?

having your ram at 800mhz will not affect your stability as it will be operating at its rated speed.

then when you have your cpu at its best overclock, you can go back and increase the ram speed.
i had my Q6600 @ 3.3ghz and the ram at 1.8v and 800mhz. and it was stable.

then i added +0.1v to the ram. so its @1.9v and i have my ram at 990mhz (or as its ddr2 ram, 495mhz x 2 = 990)

cool gonna unlink and set my ram to 400x2(800mhz) and see what happens from there lol
