I think you should buy another 460, going from 460 to a single 560 is no real upgrade. If you don't want to crossfire/sli go with 6950 2gb version and unlock to 6970 for better performance.

I've had both and prefer the performance of the 6950 2GB more. My current 560 ti is slightly slower but I got it to fold and use on linux. The 6950 2GB unlocked is worth the extra 30 if your gaming to me tho, or like above poster could go sli 460's..

Go with the 6950, it's faster at stock and if you can unlock it then it will be more fast. biggrin.gif
560 Ti is still good but should be a bit more cheaper.

He cant sli on current board.
IMHO going from 460 to 560/6950 isnt THAT much of an upgrade. Still the 6950 is better performer, and if u unlock it...well then thats a great upgrade.

Actully the 560 is about 25% faster on average and the 6950 is more so.

I know that but, its a 460 :s. You wouldnt keep it on stock? the gap does decrease between 560 and 460 (even if both are overclocked). As a said the 6950 is better/justified and if it unlocks all the better.
Personally id go with a reference 6950 and try to unlock it or a gtx570, maybe a used 480 too.

Well I don't know exact numbers but from what most people say, the majority of them unlock. I've had 3 different reference ones and they all unlocked so.. either that supports that or I was lucky.. xD
