Hey guys so I was wondering does anyone not do bigadv units on their i7?
How many points do u get just for big wu?
Are u usuing the 6.34 client for big WU(not bigadv)???
Is it worth to do a bunch of big wus instead of one bigadv?

Around 3-5k per wu, usually under 20k ppd

Bigadv is much better unless you "need" to use the comp alot or you can't leave it on to complete the bigadv units.

Yes, I run reg SMP on my i7. I get anywhere from 14-17k PPD. Yes, latest client version is almost always your best bet.

This, or if you are unwilling the OC til power consumption is out of control. Only i7's (non-sandy bridge) at 3.6ghz+ or so will be able to meet the deadline.

Thanx guys
the reason I was asking about the 6.34 is cause it says it's BETA on their website so I was not sure if it's cool to use on regular basis

The SMP client has been "beta" for a long while.

Rest assured, once a client has been released to the public, it's gone through both internal testing, as well as closed beta testing. It's stable for public use.
