Is this Crysis 1 mod installing itself with fresh Crysis install?

I installed Crysis about 2 months ago and then installed a mod. I think it's the "natural mod" that's "suppose" to increase FPS? Well, it's didnt and actually hurt my FPS. So I uninstalled the mod and shortly after deleted Crysis for SSD room.

Well I have a little extra space so I installed Cyrsis again but it seems like the MOD is still present? I'm not 100% sure and want to check. The big thing I noticed is the slightly different intro and the look of the plane and island during the first video. When I hit the ground things don't look right and FPS should be better for my system. I even have dx9 on and FPS are lower then expected.

I'm sure steam must have left a few files when I uninstalled the first time and maybe the natrual mod didn't uninstall properly the first time I had it? Any crysis 1 fans wanna help me make sure I DON'T have ANY signs of the natural mod on my PC?

I'm not exactly sure, but assuming you did uninstall crysis, it should have left a folder containg the system.cfg file in your program files or the documents.

That with certain other modifications from the natural mod would have made the intial impression, and now the modfication is gone but the system.cfg is left which is making it look different.

That's my guess

I went through the game files in the steam folder and there are lots of configs there. Anything in particular I should be looking for?

Edit: Uninstalled and manually erased all Crysis folders (with saved configs) on my hard drive and downloading from steam again now. will post results after.
