Crysis 2 FPS drop after a few minutes of play.

Thread Starter
Hi guys

So i installed Crysis 2 this morning. I can play the game on extreme at 1680x1050 with my 6970 at around 60-120 fps fine but after around five minutes of play the fps starts to drop and eventually goes down to 1 fps so it is unplayable frown.gif

If i restart the game it runs fine again for a few minutes then drops, i have tried verifying cache and reinstalling the game. I also have my fan on 100% and it doesn't appear to be a heat issue either. Anyone had this problem?

Check your temps. Could be clock throttling?

Im not sure it uses about 2.gb of my system ram which seems like a fair bit but im not sure if this is to much. How do you go about correcting one of these?

That is the only logical reason. Crysis 1 love doing that. However with 6GB, I doubt that's it. I have 4GB and a 6850 and I'm doing just fine.
