Crysis 2 FPS drop after a few minutes of play. - Page 4

Nevermind, I found the beta drivers and they don't do anything. The game plays amazing for 5-10 mins and then starts very slowly to get choppy. Then goes unplayable. I can close Crysis 2 and reopen and the same starts again.

So rmfa^^ managed to fix the issue by reinstalling windows i really don't want to do this, todays patch did not help.

Just wondering if anyone has any other ideas? If not will wait to the next patch see if it works then may be forced to reinstall windows the leaked version worked flawlessly leading me to believe this is a steam issue, i have also disabled steam in game but that did not work.

I know why is it doing...maybe. My card does the same thing when temperature of GPU reaches 97°C. I think there's something on card that decreases performance of the card to keep temperature of GPU under 97°C(might be similar number with your GPU).
