Crysis 2 Mod Ideas

In your opinion what would be the baddest Mod that could be done with the Crysis 2 engine?

I think there's a lot of potential to do an awesome game a la Left 4 Dead or even a Mechwarrior Mod like Mechwarrior Living Legends for Crysis.

The maps are awesome and the graphics are truly the best looking since Crysis.

Someone goes out and unlocks the dx11 that is supposedly coded into the game.

Yes, a patch will be released enabling DX11 shading.

Maps are fairly small to do anything significant with. Regardless, I'll take mods on the originals over this any day.

I'd like to see more enemies, more of the soldiers, less of the aliens. It would be cool to have like 20 guys in an area, a real army fight against you and your soldiers. Basically push it harder and farther, pump it up!

Also, 4 player co-op would make the game awesome.

True. I can still envision a great zombie game if that's the case. the maps are more linear but they can be expanded as well by deconstructing some of the building.

Really the MP maps aren't that small, They are pretty large actually.

Mechwarrior: Living Legends It's for original Crysis/Warhead, but if Cryengine3 actually had DX10/11 support, it would be cool to try. Only way I'll buy Crysis2 is if someone makes a mech game mod for it.

1. Get rid of a lot of the barriers/invisible walls in single player.
2. Graphics.
3. Smart soldiers.
4. Fix soldiers seeing you through walls (has happened 3 times to me)
