Need a wireless keyboard recommendation, trying to decide between K750 and K800

Logitech Wirless K750 Solar vs Logitech Wireless Illuminated K800

Hey guys I have a normal wired keyboard but I need a wireless because I'm going to be using my computer at a distance. I need to be able to game also and am aware because of that my options are limited as I've seen others that have problems with pressing more than three keys at a time.

These two seem to meet my needs but are relatively new as I can't find many user opinions.

K750 Solar
http://www.logitech.com/en-gb/keyboa...ction=features

I don't totally believe the three month battery lasting part without light though, just think its marketing as I have a logitech mouse where they said it can last seven months which I knew it wouldn't be but it was no where near that in fact it only lasted over a month but this is different than using AA batteries so it might or might not be plus that scenario won't happen so its ok

K800 Illuminated

Compared to the K750 Solar its got backlit which would have made the K750 perfect and its more expensive, it also uses two AA rechargeables and the backlit would probably eat up battery life more though that is expected and I don't have a problem.

At the moment I'm leaning towards the K750 Solar as the only thing it seems to be missing is the backlit feature and I can also get it slightly cheaper than the logitech price with no other big difference I can see of. I do work in the dark but not totally so its useful and wouldn't hurt to have but not an absolute necessity.

What do you guys think between the two or any other suggestions? Any advice would be appreciated.

Looks to me like BOTH have InCurve style keys on top of PerfectStroke scissors (see the All About Scissors Wiki for details).

I'd get the K800. The K750 if I lived on the Equator.

You would get so little sunlight on the keyboard unless you happen to do a lot of your computing outdoors that I don't think the solar panel would charge much if at all.

What I gathered is it also charges from artificial ambient light so any light source does the trick.

I was thinking more about the k800 from the recommendation from you guys but I'm getting conflicting reports. Some users saying the K800 also is unable to do multiple key presses whilst there are others elsewhere who have reported no problems. I'm gonna keep digging.

I am a little surprised that being 2011 there isn't any wireless gaming keyboard or halfway in contrast to gaming mice & has been untapped. I'm only after wireless because I'm hooking my setup to my tv.

Regarding multiple keypresses check here. If not listed assume it's 2KRO. Both of these keyboards for example are 2KRO.

Also note in the last entry in the discussion pages that Win7 SP1 fixed a nasty ghosting bug when you hit more than 12 keys. So now the Sidewinder X4 you can lay on and have all keys register.

I however do not recommending laying on your keyboard. That would be weird.
