Looking for a good 2nd monitor in portrait.

Title says it all.

Looking for a affordable but good quality monitor in portrait mode, to be used for web browsers and my Comicrack comic/manga reader.

I'm using my old spare LG monitor for a 2nd screen but it can't be place in portrait and it's very dim from age and use.

Budget is around $250, maybe not looking to spend too much for a secondary monitor

Any suggestions?

Avoid TN-panel monitors as the viewing them in portrait mode is hard.

Get IPS-panel monitors. For a budget of around US$250, I suggest:

a. Dell U2211H (21.5'') for $229. As you are using an U2410, I suppose you can rotate it to Portrait Mode and actually see the result as the 2 monitors should use the same panel type.

b. NEC EA231WMI-BK (23'') for $265. This is also an IPS panel monitor.

AH thank you, I was thinking about just getting another dell monitor to so they would be matching but think you for the NEC alternative.
