Help UN-rooting galaxy S 2.1-update1

I have a galaxy s rooted with 2.1-update1. I want to unroot it so I can upgrade to froyo..

I am at work so I can't install any programs on the computer.. is there a way to unroot with the terminal? Or any other phone-based method?

Would REALLY appreciate the help and reciporocate it!

Since you already have it rooted why not use a custom 2.3.3 rom? Gingerbread is wayy better than froyo. That being said, sorry I don't know how to unroot that specific phone.

I sadly do not have much experience with the galaxy S, however I know they have a strong group of people making roms. Check out this site, it has lots of resources for this. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=886000

I will note you can brick your phone doing this if you mess up a step, but if you follow the directions step by step there should be no issues. IMO it's totally worth it for the level of customization you can get with custom roms. Just make sure you read through everything and make sure you understand everything you are going to have to do, after you do it it gets much easier once you are familiar with the process.

Or do that, lol. I don't know how I forget about that... I still would recommend checking out some custom roms, can be pretty fun to mess around with.
