Zeon x5540 overclock

Need some help with my zeon x5540 wanna over clock from a 2.53 to a 3.0 but have no idea how to do it and would i need liquid cooling for it?

No you won't need special cooling.Most likely you can just drop your ram a bit and up your base clock until you reach 3.0.

Why would you OC a xeon?

In th reasearch group i`m at i got a dedicated server (for myself) and i would overclock the hell out of this thing(Which i can`t cause i would get my *** whooped). Real overclockers overclock everything even the toaster smile.gif
