Lian Li K62 2x140 outake is hoter?

Thread Starter
Okej so i have a lian li k62 and i have mounted 2x 140 intake and 2x140 outake ontop. And Push pull H50 in the back pushing air out.

So heres the thing. I have temp sensors on the fan controller that i placed over the motherboard att the H50 pump.

IF i shut down the top fan that are closes to the front my temp decrease by 3-5 celsius.

Is the second 140mm top fan messing with the airflow? If i shut down the extra 140mm in the front the temps are a little higher.

In idle i check 2 temps, Below the GPU and second att the H50 pump

Its 27c below GPU and 28.5 at CPU in IDLE with only 140 outake ontop active.

Its 28.1c below GPU and 32 at CPU in IDLE if i use both 140 outake ontop

When under load

Its 3-4c hoter with 2 outake fans during load of GPU and CPU, CPU get 1c hoter.

Well i dont know whats going on but its weird that the orignal fan setup of the case is hoter then when i only use 1 of the top fans..... And it has to be the one placed furthest to the rear of the case.

Room temp was 24c
And GPU dumps hot air inside the case.

And if i remove the front cover, Temps drop 5c. Dustfilters fault i guess

Prob air disruption, tried reversing the fan? I dropped 10oC on my 800D by reversing the rear fan.

Try mounting the H50 as intake and top fans exhaust
Or remove it all and just create a front-rear wind tunnel

Ah yes. Another user discovers that when he actually measures his temps the conventional cooling method is not very good.

Well: hot air rises, and top exhaust fans certainly encourage that. What is happening is that air is heated by your gpu and other mb components, then goes to your H70, compromising its cooling.

The simplest thing you can do is to flip your H70 around so it pulls in cooler air from outside. Then plug in both top exhaust fans to get that hot air out of your case.

Of course, your H70 might pull in air warmed by your psu and gpu and deposited out the back.

There are other airplans you can try, but I'll just say this:

The cooler the air you feed to whatever cooler you have, the lower you temps will be.

Air goes where you push it.
