Where to sell extremely high end system? - Page 4

Interesting. I check out the Charlotte/Raleigh CL's all the time. But I agree. I would put it on CL and just sit on it a bit. Or just part it out. Actually, I'd try and return it to the retailer as it would probably be less of a hit paying a restocking fee vs. trying to sell it privately.

What? No they don't. Maybe in 30 years time after inflation has taken a toll on the current price vs what it sold for prior.

looked at the pictures... it's pretty nice but again, i can't see it going for anything near what your asking for. Just keep it, or part it out and maybe get 3 thousand or a little bit more.

i7 980x used ~ 700-800 dollars
800d ~ 200-250
gtx 580~ 400-500 each
ssd 128gb ~ 150-235
corsair 1200w ax ~ 250-280
evga ftw3 ~ 200-230
corsar ram 24gb ~ 200-300
ht omega sound card ~ 100-140
corsair h70~ 80

all these prices are estimates at how much you would get for them used to like new, but not factory sealed.

all totals about $3285 at my highest estimation for a part out

The only possible build i would shell that much money for if i had it would be an sr2 build with quad sli... 990x.

You have 30-days return policy at Newegg for refund. Even with the 15% restocking fee, that's the best way to ensure you can recoup most of your money.

Well, it's overpriced considering you can buy all the parts for less than $4k.

If anymore, it would only increase the $3800 to $4000, not 5 grand. No ones gonna pay $5000 for a used system thats worth $4000!

Get that through your thick head and accept it.
