Best quality + value headphones that don't leak noise?

Thread Starter
I tend to like to listen to music very loud, and people near me get annoyed by it especially if they are trying to do something or sleep. My turtle beach hpa2 are awesome, but i was wondering if anyone knows of good quality sound headphones that have absolutely no leakage?

I would prefer it to have good base and be audiophile quality.
I am a bit hindered in my budget so it can't be absurdly expensive.
Any recommendations?

You could try looking into the audiotechnica ath-a700 headphones. They are the closed back version of the ad700, which is one of the most popular gaming headsets on this forum. They are pretty reasonable, do not leak sound, and will give you good sound quality with punchy bass and a decent sound stage for closed headphones. Here is a review from headfi.com forum

http://www.head-fi.org/forum/thread/86278/ath-a700-review

They sell for about $120 on amazon and newegg

what is your budget in raw dollars...things like 'can't be expensive' is hugely subjective.
music taste?
how do you intend to use it?

Gaming marketed headphones are never ever good for music so if you think they are awesome, you haven't heard real stuff.

They're winners.

If you like a lot of bass though, the Ultrasone HFI 780s are your cup of tea. They isolate pretty well too.

Whoops, the ath-a700's shouldn't leak though.

BTW OP, what you're looking for are "closed headphones". Open headphones are the ones that leak. Many closed headphones would do fine if you want to contain the noise.
