In retrospect I would have saved my money and I only paid $27.

I just got it...it looks good, easy to run on extreme/1920X1080 at 60FPS locked for me.
I don't have huge expectations, its a solid 9.0 from what Ive seen so far.

Crysis 2 was one of the very few games that when I finished it, I wanted to play through it again. Get it.
So far I have played it for about 8 hours, and it is a very very good experience. I have no idea where all the hate comes from, because even if it ported or has meh graphics or things such as that, game play wise, it is a very good game. I enjoy the story very much, and the small surprises towards the end of the game are fantastic

All in all, I think this is a highly recommended game for people to play, PC gamers and console gamers alike, because the story is a good thrill. The end was kind of slow though.

I think another big thing accomplished was finding a balance between linear scripted events and sandboxish game play. It had plenty of great cinematic moments, without making you feel like you are just on a rail. This is just my opinion though.

Agreed.

The only thing that I can honestly say that I did not like about the SP are the two or three COD moments. You know....the, I'm hurt and on my belly moments before the cinematic scene. "Hey user...I want you to feel my struggle, so what I want you to do is press LMB1 to activate my left arm so that I may pull myself along....but that's not all, I need you to press LMB2 to command my right arm....." Rinse and repeat. This was the only thing in the campaign that remotely favored a COD game.

They put that in not once, not twice, but thrice.

No its not worth $60.00, and it's not even worth the $29.99 I paid for it off one of the CD Key websites. After playing the first Crysis and Crysis warhead, this game feels so dumbed down its dissapointing. If you havent played those yet I would recommend playing those instead.
