2600K How do these numbers look?

Thread Starter
I'm running the CPU at 4.5 with a Vcore of 1.26. Temps are 36C at idle and they got up as high as 65C while running max stress level on Intel Burn Test. At very high stress level they were at 60C. That's with air cooling. Is the 60-65C something to worry about, or is that within reason for an air cooled system?

Honest, I am not looking for an excuse to add water cooling... well, not yet anyway

You know you want to......do not attempt to resist the power of watercooling. *Mmmh, chill...so cool. And how sexy won't it look? You know what you want..... do it....

So anywayz, those temps seems fine to me, nothing to worry about.

since you're on air... temps look good. Everything looks good. And i am assuming you have a static overclock since the high idle temps? i.e stays at 4.5 and doesn't go up and down.

My idle temps are lower than yours and my clock and voltages are higher. Even with water it should be about the same. The difference comes at load temps. My load temps are slightly lower put that thing under water

Sure I want to. Just have to recover from the cost of the build first. I will get to it down the road.

I just learned how to make it static. I didn't know to disable the stepping. Its 4.5 24/7 now. Water is the plan, but I want to get a few months without it. Thanks for the input on the temps guys.
