Believe me...I know....
I have a 955 BE and GTX 470, I was running an app from uni, and it was using 60% and spikes of 90% of my CPU! 60%! and 99% of my GPU!

It was only simple textures with simple lighting! I know I didn't have vsync on, but still.... I was getting 160 - 700fps averaging at 220-240, and it was microstuttering to hell! Horrible to use! I'd try and link it so you guys can see how an i5/i7 compares to my 955BE, I was so shocked.

I uploaded it to see if anyone fancied having a go: LJMU_08-02-11.zip

It's called "test.exe", I had to use it for my dilapidations coursework, and is it just me, or is it badly coded, I can't believe it, my computer actually can't handle it without vsync on, every component at max load. :/
