windows not using all my memory - Page 2

Thread Starter
alright. when I looked in safe mode, into computer properties, it said that I have 1.75GB available. I also checked the BIOS, there is no option to change the allocated video memory. I really need a memtest program, but I don't know whats best. Which one should I use?

1. You could use the memtest that comes with windows when booting
2. You could use memtest86: http://www.memtest.org/
3. Did you try running on just one stick to see what happens?

trial and error, if swapping cards didn't help, put them back how they were. i think you can install memtest on a flash drive.

if all else fails, call asus support. you will most likely hate this option, as i would too, but they have the ability to send you a new one, we don't.
