OCCT help

Thread Starter
I'm new to OCCT. Trying to do stability test for my cpu. Currently overclocked amd 955 to 4ghz. What settings do I put in OCCT? ex. test type, test mode, priority, hyperthreading. I'm not looking to leave it overnight. I already have prime95 to do that. I just would like something less than 1 hour.

Instead of OCCT use LinX, i guarantee you will not need over night to find an error in a overclock. When using it set the problem and memory size the the max and change the amount of runs to 500.

You need to keep an eye on the temps while using LinX, it goes up higher that prime 95 and OCCT.

OCCT's CPU test = Prime95 while its CPU Linpack = LinX.
I'd try OCCT Linpack (50% memory usage is okay for CPU test only, can't enable Hyperthreading anyway) for 2/3 hours.
