PSYCHE!

With these things it sounds like you're writing on a chalk board and feels like you're dragging your mouse through the mud. I'm using a Puretrak Talent, too--the "best" cloth pad out there. Like you could wear it to dinner with the president. Please.

Everyone harass PureNick about this while he's here ty.

EDIT: you know what? this is probably why they send you TWO alcohol swabs with them. One to clean the goo off before you stick them on and one to wipe the goo away after you tear them off. Jesus Christ.

Yeah, I was disappointed when I received my sample, even the stock logitech feet are smoother.

On another note I was at my local library today and messing around with the WMO 1.1s and I don't know if its the billions of bacteria on the feet or what but it was smooth as butter. Felt somewhat weird furiously touching mouses at a public place

I put the Live Journal tag in front of every thread where I'm just complaining and/or offering nothing of any substance to anyone.

Product I'm talking about: http://www.puretrak.com/products/item/17

They're a teflon "blend". Maybe 2% teflon and 98% sand paper. I don't know.

And also, no, I have nothing bad to say about the Puretrak Talent. I have another random cloth pad and there's no comparison. The Talent is great. $30 great? I don't know. But it's great. I was just saying that I'm using a good mouse pad, so it's not the reason for this unbearable friction.

Some people don't like the pure smoothness of hyperglides, that's why they go for puretrak.

I dont understand how people like on control or friction. It just decreases your accuracy.

I found more friction/control feet to give me more control of your movement ingame which technically increases the accuraty.

I have the HyperGlides, and I really likes this, but in first it was just too slippery, but its kinda of get used to my Qck Mass.
They really feel high quality, and the glides its just awesome.

there is a true israelian phrase that says:"On Quality, pays". [I hope you understand since my english is awful haha]

I very recently got a puretrak talent and some of the puretrak skates for my ec2, since im sort of a mouse/pad/keyboard nutter. Cant help myself sometimes.

I actually like them so far, Im hoping we see some hyperglide zowie skates, but the puretraks have a very smooth but slightly resistant feel that I got from my original imo1.1 mouse on a supermat. Its just got a little friction for control if you happen to like that sort of thing, which I do. In 1.6 im far more accurate with slight friction on a cloth pad than with say a deathadder on a hard surface that is too slippery.

i absolutely had when ur on a hard mouse surface and the mouse acts like it wants to skate off the surface if you just give it a slight push... too slippery = meh

And it seems $25 is the new standard for your decent cloth pad. =( I remember when I paid like 4.99 per supermat and they each lasted me a year... still have one actually.

Its called a preference, it doesn't decrease your accuracy at all..... Using your Xai, THAT decreases your accuracy.

Puretrak calls their mouse feet "Perfect glide" so maybe they think that their blend is a perfect middle ground between too slow and too fast of a glide. "Hyperglide" sure sounds like they are going for the quickest glide possible right? PREFERENCE!
