Hi there ,

I was just trying out these 2 drives I got ,

Seagate ST2000DL003-9VT166 , and have them on the Sata 6/Gb Marvel connectors on my p8p67 from ASUS. I am copying a folder containing JPEGs only and is about 25 gigs big . I t is taking such a long time , that I am wondering why this could be ... ^^

Thank you

I bought A western Digital green same thing sort off, they are made for storage and thats it. They are saving power by running slower then every other drive. I found out the hard way aswell and have ordered myself a Samsung Sinpoint F3 500GB.

well, what you need to realise is the seagate green drives are designed for storage. THe initial writing to the drives will be slow, but once the data is there and you're reading the information etc etc it'll be fine.
