3 monitors needs more Vram and SLI/Crossfire to run games maxed out.

You may be content with 1 monitor but I enjoy having peripheral vision in my fps games. I enjoy being able to see expansion bases and my main base all at once in RTS games. I enjoy being able to see out the front and left/right windows at the same time in racing games. I enjoy the larger field of view.

Maybe you need to learn what you are talking about.Name one GTX 580 that has a better 2 slot air cooler.
Ok...now take a look at this-http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814127572
I hate when people bad-mouth a product for no reason.

For uber resolutions above 2560x1600 I'd suggest SLI 3GB GTX 580s with EK blocks. For anything less, I play at 2560x1600 and my 3 x GTX 580 HydroCoppers are more than enough even at max video settings. I went with pre-installed blocks for aesthetics and form factor (I have a network card installed between the blocks), but the convenience is a plus.

I'm waiting on SLI 590 or Crossfire 6990 benchmarks to show up in the 3DMark11 and Heaven 2.5 thread; less talk more proof!

Just curious if your going 4 GPU (590 SLI) why don't you want the 6990 CFX as I believe AMD has really nailed it with their driver optimalization for 4 GPU's vs nVidia?
