And so on...

Do not add the force fermi flag if you already have a monitor plugged into it.
Do not open multiple clients while the first slotted card is not folding properly.
Work your in down in order.

Let me know how its going.
I bring nothing to the table I just wanted to mess with Chris. Good luck with getting everything up and running properly.

Ok, so I deleted the work folder, queue.dat, and config file.

I then used the flag:

"C:\\Users\\Folding\\Desktop\\Folding\\GPU - 1\\Folding@home-Win32-GPU.exe" -local -gpu 0 -advmethods

I get this msg:

Code:

I'm fresh out of ideas then. Like chris said you only need 1 driver to run all the cards, did you try enabling XP SP3 compatibility mode? Might be worth a shot, although i doubt it would fix that error...)

Yea I tried that. I also tried going from Gpu 0 to Gpu 10 in the shortcut just in case. Still same msg.

I also uninstalled both drivers and reinstalled the 450 GTS driver. So there should be only 1 driver.

Unless I need to go in and delete the driver files individually or something?

No i wouldn't do that, it almost always ends badly.

Try removing all the cards and drivers. Re-seat one card, install the driver, and setup the client. Repeat that until you run into problems and it might give you a better idea of what's going wrong and where.

Yea that was the original client I tried. When I started getting "[23:10:14] + Error starting Folding@home core" I switched to the console as thats what other threads suggested.

I will try again just in case.

I get the same error w/o -forcegpu flag

Adding -forcegpu nvidia_fermi causes "[23:18:07] + Error starting Folding@home core."
