Razer Lycosa in Red?

Thread Starter
Ok so i already bought a keyboard some months ago Saitek Cyborg V7
and love the Red light on it goes perfect with the Razer Naga molten mouse that breathe in red which for me the best mouse i used ever

But i was looking into a better gaming keyboard
and while i though mostly about Logitech G510 i realy like Razer Lycosa
but i think is only Blue light?

I came across a old blog of razer that meantion a Red and Green lycosa
http://blog.razerzone.com/2008/03/13...-illumination/

it seem a Red or green lycosa was going to be relesed in 2008
so now in 2011 i guessed it must have been released?
so i spent almost 1 hour googling trying to find if it has been released
but could not find anything

then on razer web there is 2 version the lycosa and a special edition
but still not sure if there is only 1 color on it.

So I though i go the easy way and ask you
Does a Red led light version exist of Lycosa?

I also heard there is a V1 and V2 where the V1 is not so bright
i want it bright.

If there is no Red Lycosa
Does Razer make any Red light keyboard except for that dragon age keyboard?

Or should i just go with a Logitech G510 ?
is always good to have a extra keyboard so i will use the Saitek sometimes too.
or maybe i end up switching both keyboard
use the Saitek one day and the logitech/razer another

No the lycosa was never released in red. The only red lycosa I have ever seen was an after market mod. The dragon age keyboard is the only red razer board that I know of. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

OK i guess i go Logitech then
but i know Razer have a Red and a green Lycosa for testing purposes
could try contact them but i doubt they sell me one

Is odd Razer dont make something to change color light on keyboard fairly common this days.

Anyway i probaly then stick with Logitech as i dont like that microsoft keyboard

Probably wasn't a big enough demand for the keyboard or wasn't worth the money, etc.

I dont consider the lycosa a gaming keyboard at all. Its simply a glorified low profile keyboard.
I often find myself very limited as to what I can do, in games, by the very-low KRO of this poorly made keyboard.

Don't buy it.

Good brand but a bit too simplistic/classic for my taste
