@Alatar:

Thanks for replying back. Looking at the screenshots I uploaded ZI just realized they only depict stock settings and not the OC'd ones I claimed. I will upload more convincing ones in a little bit. Can you please update my 'Proof' link as soon as I post the images? thanks

People don't need to know who you are meeting or where your boss is heading to next for a top secret meeting with nvidia or [ insert company ] yada yada. People just wanted to see some factual informations from you. Oh and don't pull off from a club just because you are throwing a hissy fit. -_- gosh
Actually...I've had all the 590's for sale, VIA a vendor, for a couple weeks, which is actually why I removed myself.

I sold our principal stock...I consider being part of a community a position of honor, thus I removed myself, there was no hissy fit...And I more/less nerd rage when I QQ, btw.

I'm also not in a position to provide data...Right now I'm under 15 NDA's, practically 1 NDA for every icon on this screen AND my OS is NDA atm...So, by my providing you guys with any information, I break MULTIPLE disclosure agreements every single attempt.

Which I did and was reprimanded for, once already.

Wasn't because of a hissy fit, more/less been having compatability issues out of my ass. I require 100% reliability and when it's not there, sorry but, that's the end of the line for this office.

With the discovery that our boards have...problems...I decided to give what's left of our personal stock, a second chance; thus I returned...

We'll see what happens but, my providing data = no no.

Well sometimes it must be the ego-demons at work.

@ Alatar , will be posting my screenshots soon so that I can be in the club as well.
Its really no big deal, if I did get upset, talking some trash, it really wouldn't be right or in my character. It would also show that I was full of crap when I said I wanted to help people, namely our little group, which is very true. The fact that EVGA have adjusted the BIOS has lead me to believe there really is something wrong. That and other people have confirmed it worked for them too gives it a bit of strength.

However, I actually have a confession to make. In regards to this being an issue, I think there is enough evidence going around from various people to be proof of a bit of a hiccup, but....

I on the other hand..... had a major PSU snafu. Apparently my primary GPU had one of its 6+2 pins semi disconnected at the PSU. All the plugs were in the GPU so all 8 pins, but in the PSU only 6 of the 6+2 pins were actually plugged in, its an easy mistake to make when the amount of modularized cables and cable management I had to deal with, but thats pretty bad. Now, this was only 1 of my 3 (6+2 pins), but this could easily explain why I was having the power outages. It could even lead to a GPU having errors. The fact though that the errors stopped after increasing GPU2's voltages by 13mV seems that indeed there was another legitimate issue. On the flip side, I found it pretty awesome that the card ran essentially on a 6x Pin, and a 6+2 pin all the way up to 830 MHz. I think thats a pretty cool snafu.

Here is my 2nd part of confessions (I sound like Usher now haha): Guess who was using a 16x slot with 8x slot for his 590s? This guy. Only realized it after a complete loop tear down. We don't officially know how much difference 8x vs. 16x makes for a GTX 590, but we know for a single GTX 580 its about ~1%. The reason I didn't think anything of the slots I was using because I have been using 2x GTX 580s for four months in the same slots. Re-using the same perfect water tubing cut for SLI completely left me in a diminish capacity so I didn't notice the big 8x on my Classified 3 PCI-E slot. Hopefully when I get back on the horse my benchmarks will be easier to run with the correct power (new PSU too) and 16x/16x, thus giving me some more numbers to destroy the 2x6990 score thats beating me.

Lol, well ragincain. It seems these cards are enough to break anyone's build. They are very good at pointing out weak spots in the rest of your computer. I myself had to replace a little over half my computer.....

HEY NVIDIA, if you read these forums, please get your engineers to remove the artificial limitations in the bios and driver, ok? Thanks!

hey guys,
Is it overkill to buy a gtx 590 for World of Warcraft?
Should I buy another gtx 580 for SLI?
If you look at this picture below, single gtx 580 in 2560 x 1600 resolution is barely above 60 fps. I don't think it's future proof, so I need some advice.

It's over kill for one GTX 590 or even more so for GTX 580 SLI. WOW dosen't require more than a GTX 570 at maxed settings.

However on OCN overkill is usually norm.

If your itching for an upgrade regardless then your half way there just SLI the GTX 580.

You'll be set for years before graphic intensive games catch up with the pair and even longer for WOW.
