Build:

Silverstone FT03 case
Intel 2600k 3.4 Ghz @ 4.7 Ghz with Corsair H70
Asus P8P67-M Pro
Silverstone Strider 1200w PSU
8 GB DDR 3 1600 Mhz Corsair Vengeance
Intel 520 series SSD 250 GB
1 TB Western Digital 7200 rpm 8MB Cache
2 x Geforce 590 sli
Apple 27" Cinema Display
Windows 7 64 bit

Actually 3dmark recognises there are 2 cards but shouldn't it recognise 4 with 2x 590? Anyone else have this problem and know how to fix it? I am using the new beta drivers 272.27 as the most recent certified didn't work either....

Forget about the benchmarks
I am using benchmarks to test whether everything is set up properly more than anything else.

Here is the issue I have: both cards are recognised by device manager but nvidia control panel will only allow me to select multi gpu card rather than sli. It also tells me to install an sli bridge. I have tried two separate sli bridges and multiple driver versions.

Is anyone else having this issue? I heard it might be something to do with a Realtek LAN conflict but I have disabled this in the BIOS and uninstalled all the drivers and still nothing.

I am currently on the 275.27 drivers...

Here's my system - any help most appreciated:

Double check the bios, make sure the secondary pci-e slot is set to auto.

Check with GPU-Z whether both cards are on.

Use the 3-Way SLI Bridge.

Both cards are definately on - they are shown in device manager, nvidia control panel, and in GPU-Z

Why would a 3-Way SLI Bridge be better? I only have two cards...

Thanks for your advice

Try switching the monitor to a different Dvi socket, preferably the one next to the dp port on the top card. The drivers are picky after release drivers.

Thanks everyone for the continued suggestions. I have tried the following now and still no luck:

1. Different Sli bridges
2. Various GPU drivers
3. Various Realtek LAN drivers
4. CMOS reset
5. Checked BIOS for PCI options - can change mode on PCI 3 but that is unused as PCI 1 covers it when I install the GPU
5. Swapping the cards in the PCI slots
6. Swapping the port the monitor is plugged in to (I am using the mini display port)
7. Complete clean install of Windows with chipset drivers and GPU drivers only

Once I got a bubble saying Sli wasn't activated but then when I opened nvidia CP all the maximise 3d performance option did was enable multi gpu card sli as usual

Maybe there is a hardware fault but how can I tell if it's the MB or one of the GPUs? Both GPUs work and are recognised but could one have a faulty Sli connector or something?

One thing I did notice was that nvidia control panel recongises all 4 GPUs as being on a 8x bus whereas GPU-z have them all at 16x...strange

Really at my wits end here!

Ok

NVCP gives you the option for muti gpu sli?
That's what you want.

Does gpu-z show sli 4 gpus?
