1. Different Sli bridges

3. Various Realtek LAN drivers
4. CMOS reset
5. Checked BIOS for PCI options - can change mode on PCI 3 but that is unused as PCI 1 covers it when I install the GPU
5. Swapping the cards in the PCI slots
6. Swapping the port the monitor is plugged in to (I am using the mini display port)
7. Complete clean install of Windows with chipset drivers and GPU drivers only

Once I got a bubble saying Sli wasn't activated but then when I opened nvidia CP all the maximise 3d performance option did was enable multi gpu card sli as usual

Maybe there is a hardware fault but how can I tell if it's the MB or one of the GPUs? Both GPUs work and are recognised but could one have a faulty Sli connector or something?

One thing I did notice was that nvidia control panel recongises all 4 GPUs as being on a 8x bus whereas GPU-z have them all at 16x...strange

Really at my wits end here!
Wait. You think Sli isn't working because of the error bubble? I get that all the time. Just make sure all the GPUs are selected in the image/diagram on Maximum 3D Performance / SLI. If NVCPL is showing all 4 in "Quad SLI" you are good to go.

The PCI-e lanes are tricky to explain. One GPU on each card has 16x. The other GPU will display whatever the motherboard gives it. GPU-z for me always says 16x and NVCPL says whatever else you are getting.

The NVCP shows one card in SLI across the two chips on the single card it does not show 4 in Quad SLI.

Each time i install a new driver set it tells me once to connect an sli bridge. I have tried 2 different bridges in different orientations.

All maximum 3d performance does is enable sli on the single card. There is no option for quad sli.

What type of motherboard do you have. There have been reports of quad sli not working if ur board does not have a nf200 chip.

Good luck with the new 275.33 drivers. Epic system failure. Nothing works except AERO and Flash movies. So basically... porn. Good to see that nVidia Driver team has their priorities straight.

I think I speak for all GTX 590 owners when I say 'PHEW'.

Sorry to hear that truthfully. Let's hope they are addressing the issues. I'd have thought they'd have ironed it out prior to release. For the GTX 580 I'm doing just fine.

Whether it's "Quad SLI compatable" or not, the absense of the NF200 will hurt you tremendously in that regard.

The highway just isn't big enough for all those cars...If you can understand that.

New drivers are terrible btw, bigger problems than the old ones
