you cannot sli cards from different generations.... sli is if they work together to render, but physx is not rendering....
but honestly unless you do cuda programming, or play a ton of physx enabled games.... you won't see a different, (results pending on cuda in adobe products, testing that this week)

That's what I thought. Thanks for the response! +rep
Last side note on monitors:
I am in love with this BenQ XL2410T panel. Great PQ quality after calibration, amazing 120hz performance.
And I have to say, if your eyes can handle it, 3D gaming with Nvidia's 3D Vision is no joke. Best 3D I've ever seen. Blows anything and everything away in Avatar or anything else playing at the cinemas. BFBC2 being 3D Vision Ready, takes on a whole different experience-
And what I love about the 590, is, I'm getting a constant 60fps in 3D at stock clocks. 60fps in 3D!
Any other kind of 3D is BS as far as I'm concerned compared to this. Even PS3 gaming as it's only 720p and not true 120hz. Nvidia 3D vision is the only way to game or watch movies in 3D in true 1080p. Any 590 or 500 series owner that already has a 120hz panel, should really consider it. You can get wired glasses for $99. And IR ones for a little more online. The fact that Batman:AA and BFBC2 and Metro 2033 all come 3D Vision Ready makes it worth the extra $99 alone.
And if you're shopping for a 120hz display for FPS, I can't recommend this BenQ enough. The picture looks like arse out of the box, but you can find calibration profiles online and with a little tweaking, get an LCD that produces some of the deepest blacks I've ever seen for that kind of display. And one of the best Anti-Gloss matte jobs I've ever seen. I usually prefer Glossy for how it makes the colors pop, but this one really is perfect. And pixel perfect too. The 590 just hums and purrs with this display while it demolishes games. 3D or 2D 120hz. As a gamer who doesn't care about benches, I can't stop being impressed with this card.
