NVIDIA GTX 590 Owners Club - Page 268

I need to finish a couple final touches on the Rad box + on the main setup...Make it look all perdy for you guys.

Will have pics up soon.

That being said, with the complete "load" off of the 590 for all 3 screens...Gaming has gone from "okay" to "***BBQ why didn't I do this sooner?!?!"...So I am extremely happy.

I was suckered into Rift so, literally the only PC game I really play @home is rift but, on ultra, it's definitely looking pretty.

When BF3 comes out, I'll get some benchmarks going and get a stable OC going...

You got the kind of results that made you feel that way just by adding a 580 as a PhysX card? Or is there more to it?

Very interesting....

Sweet man thanks for confirming the voltage on the newer ones. When I ran one 590 I could up the voltage to .975 and overclock to 705/1410/1975. If you have a good case maybe you want to look into that. Now that I have 2 it gets way too hot in there to even think about overclocking lol.

Its going under water with a quickness. Trying to track down an XSPC RZR590 block for it but I can't seem to find one. NCIX carries them but the US site doesn't work for the past week or so.

Any reason for XSPC? I'm rather fond of my Koolance block and would recommend them in a heartbeat.

1) I like the look of it

2) Space is super-premium and its the thinnest out of all the 590 blocks

3) Its cheaper than the Koolance NX590 but performs within 2*C of it and flows almost the same

Heres one of the reviews I was looking at: 590 Waterblock Roundup

Cheers,

since the beginning I have bought a 590GTX and with early drivers I could overclock this graphics card pretty good. Especially the 280.19 driver was fantastic because he gave the opportunity to set the vcore to 1.050V stable.

With the new drivers it is imo not possible to do this again. I have also seen that a clock speed > 800 Mhz throttles the GPU.
My highest stable settings were 795/1790 MHz. The maximal temperature went up to 53 degrees.

I just want to know: Is it possible to rise the Vcore (eg. new BIOS) to 1,050V without any problems? Maybe it will not go?

Here's a photo of my PC:
