Basically after a certain amount of time companies release RMA stock...That's basically what it is...RMA stock hitting the shelves.

Keep in mind, most RMA stock is NIB...So, there are no issues with it plus, everything else remains the same.

That depends on how much noise affects you. In my case, as I like playing with a headset on, it isolates me from the outside noises letting me to put the fan speed to 90% (very noisy) leaving both gpus at 70°C. But as I have the PC quite far away from where I play and as I use a closed ear headset, then that doesn't bother me a lot.

Hello every1,as u see this is my first post ,and i have joined coz i have extreme doubt about VGA...

However i bought:

i7-2600k
Maximus IV extreme-z
Noctua nh-d14
1200w Cooler master gold PSU
NZXT phantom case...

What is my question,i'm missing VGA as u can see and does GTX 590 single card runs into bottleneck on BF with full setings (but i mean everything possible maxed out)?

I have read some reviews to gtx 590 can go into V-ram bottleneck especially on caspian border multiplayer.

I have read also to that card uses just 1.5gb of total 3gb,and 2 gpu processors (what is for me pointless to drow away 1.5 gb).I couldn't find how on multi gpu that memory system works? Does they split or how? coz if ppl get bottleneck with gtx 590 3gb (1.5gb effectivly) whats going on with other 1.5gb? waste?

if it uses all 3gb it shouldn't go into V-ram bottleneck coz gtx 580 3gb doesn't go...My logical opinion was to gtx 590 share memory, and to both are uses parallel what is obviously wrong.?

I'm not trolling or anything,i have used AMD and Nvidia in my long career but in last time didn't pay attention too much on new hi tech ,and 650 euros isn't small amount of money so i need some fast answers...and i'm up for Nvidia coz of CUDA,Physx and other options...

-Once more, when i said Full settings i rly mean full, everything pulled to max...and will play on resolution 1920x1080p 60hz Dell U2311h IPS monitor.

-Also i plann to use this graphic card for atleast 3 years with adding one more for SLI (either gtx 590 or gtx 580 3gb)

-I'm not w8ing for Kepler coz first serie will have problems with drivers, function of that system PCI-e 3.0 with supporting 2.0 etc,and better cards will not be released until Q3 2012 to work nice...and then i would have to switch processor, mobo and gpu what is a lot of money....

So what u would recommand since you have biggest experiences with that card/cards (gtx 590/gtx580) and only u can give me truly answer...

Thx in advance...

I swear to god...We need a FAQ that PERMANENTLY answers this.

The TOTAL ram on the card is 3gb.

There are 2 CORES that share the TOTAL ram.

So 2 cores share 3gb...Which means each core gets 1.5gb of Vram total...There is no waste.

I do not have ANY issues in Caspian or any other map in BF3 on 1900+...The ONLY issue is if you tri-monitor and game.

I'm glad you're not waiting for Kepler because the 690 (If there will be one) isn't due until December (The 2012 one)

I would recommend future proofing and getting 2x 580 3gb's however, the 590 is a limited edition and will have a better resale value...

hehee that FAQ option would be nice since there is 317 pages so far xD... well ye but i noticed to newegg for long time doesn;t have gtx 580 Lightning XE 3gb,and i'm afraid to they stoped to sell it due to new kepler, however i can order that gtx 580 but it's from other country and cost like 580 euros and gtx 590 gigabyte is 640 euros in my country ( i mean on countries coz of warranty)

So i guess to gtx 590 is much more reliable to get, according to similar price and according to warranty destination...am i right? And here i can buy Gigabyte ,Gainward and MSI manufacturer gtx 590...which u recommand?

and last question no stuttering at all there?

Thx for fast answer wink.gif
