I outlawed ANY Asus part in this building, actually; since, no problems what-so-ever.

I will probably get an MSI or a GIGABYTE MoBo next time. I just want to buy one that will be IVY Bridge ready and can be OCable easily. This LE version is also OCable very easily but some of the UEFI features are not there and I could not achieve OC that is higher than 4.5 on air.

I cant believe i got this model because it was like 40 bucks cheaper. thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif

People mostly claim that even at stock 2500k would never bottleneck a 590. could that be wrong if the game is as intensive as Bf3?
Or perhaps restarting my PC for OCing resolved the issue for now but maybe it is still a driver problem and I can have the problem agian later?

I run at 4.4 and in BF3 (at least in SP where I actually alt+tab to monitor lachen.gif) it runs mid-70's to low 80's on both cores and very spiky. :/

Hmmm thats strange. Why do we have this fluctuation on our cards than since we are both using totally different drivers.

Maybe its the games fault?

It certainly is poorly optimized. And as far as I know it still has memory leak issues.

Now I am getting mad at Withcer 1.

I want to give the series a go once more since I played Wicher 1 few months back but my save was corrupted. I played it on a laptop than (460M GPU)

Now i turned it on with my 590.

Everything at max I get 70-80 FPS, but at times it falls to 40 FPS.

I disabled SLI and still the same thing.

When SLI is disabled GPU usage is 40%

when SLI is enabled the GPU usage is 25% each.

i get stuttering and frame drops.

Why the hell isnt my GPU using its full potential. I might just revert drivers and see if it helps.

Yeah as I advance through the game I got that feeling. Why do developers do that. frown.gif

Its still a gorgeous looking game, so beautiful. cant wait to play Witcher 2 after completing this one.

When I played the game on my 460M i thought the graphics were good ( i had to lower few settings) but at MAX things look even more prettier. I just love my 590 wubsmiley.gif

For example, my OC at 4.5 is only there because I don't want any bottlenecking of any kind...
So, could that cause an issue? Absolutely...Especially in correlation with that driver...I'd leave it @ 4.5...

Does this also apply to older Bloomfield CPU's? The highest I can get mine stable is 4.189ghz...

I assume it does going by your info here.. Bummer if so. That makes the Ivy Bridge wait that much harder
