Thanks to the guys on the Cooler Master HafX thread this is my latest cable management

I suppose there is plenty of room to put the fan and it will be more efficient.

My custom stand for my PC case will arrive in 2 weeks but i can get the fan tomorrow. Should i wait until i get my custom stand so there will be room between the fan and the ground? or should i just go ahead and install the fan now?
Just install it now, it will only get better later when you have the stand-offs.

I am ordering it tonight when i decide which fan to buy thumb.gif

Edit : I ordered an Akasa Viper 140mm fan. I will have it on Saturday and install it. I hope i can have at least a 5 degree difference on FULL load. I can maybe leave the fan monitor on STOCK levels and dont use 75%.

So my case is a mid tower case. Is this enough for my setup? Or should i go for a FULL TOWER case for my 590?

Glad to see you've listened to the advice offered to you - a fan there will definitely improve your temperatures, that's for sure! The 590 is an awkward card to efficiently cool. Different cases offer marginally better solutions but at the end of the day if the card is operating well, and within recommended temperatures then there's no real need to completely overhaul your system.

As for your fan profile, if you can live with the noise then there's no real reason to change it. That said, I've never left a GPU on standard profile!

I agree with the different cases cools 590 differently as a friend of mine had a 590 and highes he saw his GPu was low 70s at stock speed and fan.

I am excited about saturday

I will clean the case's interior
I will do more cable management as i have purchased few things for that job
also I will install my fan.

I am also thinking of upgrading the fan on the top of the case but some people say that its not neccesary.

but i have a feeling that in a few months i will be changing all the fans of my case to the much improved versions. .

All for my 590 to run cooler biggrin.gif

I love this thing.

I just caught up with the thread, I wasn't able to read it for the past week.

iARDAs, I hope your situation truly is a driver situation. Your card is fairly brand new, and I know it brings you much graphical joy, hehe. Good luck with your case too, you will be very relieved once you have it the way you want.

I am too proud of myself and believe it or not i feel 2-3 degrees difference now with my GPU. Maybe its because of the weather thoush.

When my fan arrives i MIGHT OC my 590 without tweaking the voltage. Though i wonder if it is neccessary.

Last 2-3 days i had an urge to play games on 3D once more, and for instance i cant play Crysis 2 on ULTRA with High Res pack on 3D with 60 fps steady.
I quess i need a 580 tri way SLI or a 590 Quad SLI to do that. Who knows.

About the issues with my GPU, it seems so far that its a driver issue. I cant believe a driver gave me artifacting, Weird. 296.10 has not been so great either but much better than 295.71

Does anyone know why my temps are so high? ( Around 94c at load ) I have a reference GTX 590 @ 0.963v. I also have a case fan blowing air right on the card.

Its not always bad intake, but exhaust. You might not be extracting the hot air fast enough.

Also use msi afterburner to set up a custom fan profile for the card... the more aggressive the cooler it will run.
