Actually, I have some good news too, the interns saved my progress on the drivers and actually have it on a USB for me.

Since, I currently don't have the resources to putter around on a white-board all day, I'll be sending this out to Rush and a few others that asked to help.

If anyone else is interested, I'll shoot it to them.

That being said, make sure you put the fan in so the air is blowing upwards ~ And, pressure isn't something you really need to worry about in that case but, you may want a better top fan in the future, a higher CFM would create some suction -- Once you understand how fans work, etc ~ Static pressure ~ bla bla bla ~ You'll get where to put your fans etc.
Rush, drew a fantastic picture that I think he deserves rep for thumb.gif

Yep i will make sure the fan blows hair upwards. And i will get a better 200mm fan.
I came across this picture of my case in the Haf thread.

http://www.coolermaster-usa.com/product.php?product_id=2919&product_name=HAF%20922

It seems that i can install a 200mm fan on the side of the case. It says optional. Would this help lowering my 590s temperatures as well?

Also i repped most of the posts that helped me through in this situation i am in. I learned new things with every other post. Literally.

Yes but, then you face a pressure issue...I'll look at it later but, I don't think that would really benefit you until you get a better "exit" fan.

The idea is to create a vacuum...ultimately.

Thats true. Maybe that side fan might ruin things.

What about 2 120mm fans instead of the 200mm on top. I was told i can do that.

Would it perform better?
What you want to look at is the CFM (cubic feet per minute). It measures the volume of air that a fan can move during a period of time.

Now not all manufacturers measure it the same way, so if some third party fan manufacturer claims significantly higher numbers I question their validity....

But to answer your question, if your single 200mm fan has a higher CFM than 2 120mm fans added together, then don't change. But, if that 200mm fan is one that came with your case (almost definitely true) then I would be willing to bet that a pair of high CFM fans would beat it soundly.

Hey guys, I'm just dropping by to ask if there has been any new revisions of the 590s since release, particularly around the vrm area. Thought some actual 590 owners might be of help smile.gif

Damn did a search in the thread and there was some talk of revisions so got a little confused.
Technically there were revisions, but officially the answer you are looking for is: No there were no revisions...

(there were revisions that people with access to review cards saw, and there is a revised card with a different bios as default, but the differences are slight)

There are and were several revisions of this card and late in the game, they swapped VRM's.

It's illustrated earlier in the thread because there are also 2 different versions of water blocks ~ Pre-revision and post-revision.

Rush is correct, there is no OFFICIAL revision but, there were several, hardware revisions on the card.
