Rocking the case from side to side (gently of course) while the loop is running could sort it.

Hey folks

When i get my fan tomorrow and install it if i can see some temperature decrease i am thinking of getting into Ocing

so can i OC the GPU around 5-10% without voltage tweaking?

I remember OCing my 460M 20% without a voltage tweak.

However I couldnt OC my 570 factory OCed card 5% without a voltage tweak.

You can get about 630-635 mhz without any voltage tweaks,

at .963 mV you can get 700 mhz....

I don't go higher than that, as I am on air....

Cool.

How hot were you running on stock and how hot are you running now since you are also on air?

Also did having 700 mhz actually benefit in games?

I might follow your route but carefully.

Yeah but, if you're already running a primary card -- On certain motherboards you can't OC 1 card without pumping the same voltage into the other PCI slots...

Just be aware of that...

I will only be running this 590. I am not going to be purchasing a 2nd GPU fpr Physx. At least for now.

I was just saying, if you intend on running a physx card, keep in mind that when tweaking the voltage on 1 slot, you're also, technically doing it lane-wide.

There are SOME exceptions but, not many.

And to answer this, atm it's hit/miss ~ Sometimes, yes and sometimes not -- It can cause crashing, artifacting etc ~ Be sure to dial it back if you face any issues.

Cool.

taking it to 635 mhz from 605 is not really a great improvement but i might go for it. And than i will probably tweak the voltage, however i dont want to void my warranty.

in 2 years when i will build a new rig i will be sure that it will be on water.
