NVIDIA GTX 590 Owners Club - Page 430

I am running an EVGA GTX 590 Classified with the stock vapor cooler removed and replaced by EVGA's Hydro Copper water block, on a Danger Den Monsoon D5 Premium reservoir/pump with 360mm radiator and six Ultra Kaze fans in a Silverstone TJ11 chassis. My load temps (BF3 on Ultra settings) seldom exceed the mid-40's with idle temps around 30C (around 23C ambient). I am really happy with this setup, but of course I use a headset so the fan noise is not an issue. Honestly, only a dog could possibly hear the fans over the H80 anyway. I run everything on Ultra settings and have found no compelling reasons to attempt overclocking with it. If you're wondering, that's a PCI-E OCZ Revo-Drive hybrid SSD. CPU: i7 x3930, mobo: ASUS x79 Sabertooth

My entire rig is watercooled and so will be my 590!thumb.gif
As I said I'm new around here but one thing has come to my attention while read through this thread; the lack of respect members like Masked have from people that don't do their homework!
Respect is earned through valid actions and guys like Masked have done so in several occasions sharing experience and knowledge Without asking anything in return! Some guys should really be ashamed!
Ok! Having this out of my chest feels good! I really hate to see good people being hassled!

Thank you for your wishes to me. I will always follow this thread. I will pick up 2 670 or 2 680 soon but this will not give me the excitement of a DUAL GPU card. It is very hard to sell a Dual GPU card here in Turkey thats why I am going with an SLI setup.

Yap, i agree with you, Masked is the man!thumb.gif recognition is always a good thing amongst realistic and true to the bone people!
I just got a 590 from a friend that ordered a couple month ago 2 asus gtx 590 for a project in his firm but never used them,
so he sold me one for 300€ and im tempted to buy the other one...biggrin.gif
Its my believe that the full kepler will be the one to buy, whenever it comes out...
IARDAs, did you try any overclocking with the recent batch of the 300 drivers? was the voltage unlocked?

The only OCing i did was taking the clock speed to 630 from 607 :D and that did not need voltage tweaking.


The card is so darn fast that OCing was not neccesary for me.

 

The game runs BF3 flawlessly but i wish the performance or the drives were better for Crysis2.

Yeah i read about that and those GK110 will be in play soon.

 

However i am going for vacation to USA and GPUS are way cheaper than when you compare it here in Turkey and I will take advantage of this situation.

 

Worst case scenario I can always sell my GPUs that i bought in USA to the same price as a 2nd hand GPU in Turkey :)
