So since i cant flash to MARS2 atm (rev 42) and I cannot seem to be able to flash any of the old 37 modded bioses i got I want to tweak this 42 BIOS to increase volts a bit to .963 or .988

On the Fermi Volage Editor inside Nibitor i got:

Setting 0: 0 0.8755V 1 0.8755V
Setting 1: 0 0.8755V 1 0.9255V
Setting 2: 0 0.913V 1 0.963V

What do I need to change <.>?

My understanding was that you could flash up from 37 to 42 just not the other way. But yes it definately worked for me. I can't remember the exact version of the original bios but I think it was the 70.10.37.00.90/91. The 42 bios I've modified was an EVGA one which may have helped the process. Theres alot of good info over in the Flashing & Overclocking thread. Towards the end of that thread is where we initially realised that Nvidia had finally taken out the voltage lock for the 590's in the 300 series drivers.

With Nibitor I think you can donate on the home page and get early access to the new version. Whether or not he has added Mars 2 support in that version I'm not sure. I may donate a little today to check it out.

Change both values under setting 2 to the max voltage you want to run. I have mine at 0.988v

Its not necessary but I also change both setting 0 to 0.825v so the card runs a couple of degrees cooler in desktop mode.

I ran two 590's with 3X 27" monitors and had reflashed my cards as well, i ran my cards to 750 on the core with .988 as a max voltage but found the sweet spot to be of 740 at that voltage. It really made no difference between those clock speeds even when I flashed the voltage to 1.025, the cards ran fine at those voltages but it really wasnt worth the risk so I settled at .988 permanent. About 4-5 months ago I sold my 590's and got 2x 680's and im glad i did, the 680's are better IMO by far..... I play BF3 and that game is just sick with 680's. two 590's were good and I liked them but have absolutely no regrets getting rid of them what so ever for these 680's. I wish all you guys luck in stretching the life out of those cards.
