NVIDIA GTX 590 Owners Club - Page 498

OccanRazor runs his cards at 1025mV for gaming, so 1013mV might be fine. But each card is different, so there are no guarantees of safety.

i know that each card is different..i ask from your experience..what volt you use?
I am currently using 1.013v for both of my cards for 24/7 use and have not experienced any issues/problems.

very good that....im thinking to get it too..can you give me your fermi? i mean the 0-1-2 steps..
I've tried lot of different voltages, best to keep it safe at the lowest volts possible and stable core speed, keep in mind that different values in fermi voltage fields will allow for voltage imbalance between cores since they require different voltages to run stable, i had crashes everytime due to improper voltage setting by the drivers, set to 1,038v and core #2 had 0,975v, of course at 850mhz it would crash!

so, unlike this image, fill all fields with the same volts!

Cheers

Ed

thank you for the answer..i set to 1013mv and stable to 750 but not see any difference (as i exept that) so going back to 988mv with 710..
Ok guys, tell me your experiences with volts and core speed,
i get:

0,988v tops at 710mhz
1,0005v tops at 730mhz
1,013v tops at 760mhz
1,0255v tops at 820mhz
1,038v tops at 850mhz
1,0505v tops at 880mhz
1,063v tops at 910mhz

temps never go over 65º with active watercooling (800ltr/212usgal/hour pump/2m2 radiator/ 400mm fan)
and voltages never spike

very interesting....What interests me more is.... it is safe the 1025+820 for some time?

There are guys here that have done damage to their cards with clock like this?

My card touches 50C at 1.0005V

2 square meters?!?!? thats a ton of rad. At 1.0005V my card kisses 50-51C at 820MHz. I wonder what the VRMs are running at, temperature-wise? I am using the EK update block on a .42 card; so the inductors have contact with the block, the MOSFETs have contact with the block, and the cores/nf200 chip all have contact. Do you think this would add safety or merely transfer extra thermal energy from the cores to the power circuitry? I am unfamiliar with standard operating temps for the VRMs. I am also a little wary that with my MCP-35X, 6 fans, peripherals, and overclocked everything that I might be pushing the limits of my 850W power supply.

i think the 1025 is too much..and it is no very diffrence in the performance from 710 to 820..
