Well it is not allowing me to edit it, I had to request permission which as of yet does not appear to have been accepted. So I'm not sure what the problem is

For those who clocked the cards a 800Mhz ... can you show us some benches? i got really curious on checking those

If at 800Mhz under water it can have a good performance increase, that would be great ... although i really think you won't see any real gains at 800Mhz due to the ocp but i'm really interested to check that.

I ran a bench @ work last night just to see something and the 2nd core isn't scaling properly.

Mid-Vantage I was showing 90% and 30%.

So it's NOT because of the OCP...It's due to scaling that these cards are seeing POOR performance...

They're not even scaling properly in multi-window apps...Much less Crysis...Not going to miraculously start working in benches any differently unless God comes down and blesses the damn thing...

BTW; I would like to quote you from another thread...

This is absolutely NOT true and considering your apparent stance over the past few weeks, I'd tread carefully and bench your own 590's...

Masked... just show us some benchmarks ... not just talk ...

and the last quote ... my friend... it's true ... there are several users that just wanted the 590 to be a solid and a card that would deliver enough power ... that's really ok ...

But then, there are others that just try to make it a card that really isn't ... and they don't understand a damn thing about how to analyze a freaking pcb, but even though, they try to have technical discussions and try to defend some ideas that are really foolish ...

Here...
I think that this thread is full of "ideas" but lacking actual experiments ... you included masked...

750Mhz

700Mhz

Oh w8... it scales well at 700Mhz but doesn't scale well at 750 ... hmmm yes ... must be the drivers not optimizing the scalling at 750 ...

Tsk tsk ...

Did you bother checking usage core vs core? No...

You're taking a single assessment @ what YOU believe to be 100% and, it's not.

90/30 in vantage says worlds more than any bench you can ever show me...

If a bench is only using 30% of it's second core...How is that at all throttling? It's not...It's absolutely ****ty scaling.

EVGAjacob just made a comment on the EVGA forums that they're aware of the issues and working on them...Meaning, IT IS AN ISSUE.

You can see it for yourself with Precision, with Aida...Check it on your own time...Apparently I just bought this card to own it so, you can absolutely help yourself.
