I have NO HARDDRIVE inside the Antec 900 Case to maximize Air Flow and minimize ambient temp.
Reverse the TOP FRONT FAN to suck the HEAT directly from the GPU1 exhaust (located at the end of the card toward the front of the case) out. I have 120mm FAN that draws cool air from outside the case directly on top of the GTX 590. Only thing inside is EVGA i790 ULTRA SLI Mobo, USB3 card, Q9450 @3.2Ghz, 4G DDR3 1600mhz 7-6-6-24-2T, 1 DVD-ROM.

What does the gpu usage do when run at a standard fullscreen res, 1080, 1200?

Very nice, could you do some runs with AB displaying the gpu usage?

i'm going to assume they used the same internal design to work for the 590 as they did for the 6990.

i could be definitely wrong but it seems like the gpu to the left would not get cooled as effectively as the one on the right from water not running through the fins.

So, I have definitely been considering getting one of the hydro copper 590s from evga over the hydro copper 580s due to the $180 price difference. While the performance is not going to equal 2 580s, it still costs a decent bit less. For those that own them, and especially the water cooled versions, are you satisfied thus far with the purchase? I realize overclocking will not be as substantial as with a 580, but that is not what I would be looking to do anyways.

None as of yet, roll back to a version without the lock.
But be very very careful.

evil what are your temps at idle and load? the ek block revision is very nice. makes me want one for sure.

i believe with 270.51 you are limited to 900mv

have you overclocked it on stock volts also?

isn't it throwing out more volts than what you assign to it? i wouldn't overvolt.
