Antivirus testing - Page 3

Interesting results thus far. Very appreciative you're spending the time to run this testing. Still sub'd and waiting to see the results of the rest of the competitors.

I'm really looking forward to your results, I've been searching for a good antivirus program

I concur, If you can find a way to send them safely....I wouldn't mind a copy

Can you test Comodo, please? How would you rate the software that you tested in regards to blocking malware?

Yeah, I'll add comodo tomorrow. I'm trying to figure out how to test it right now lol. I really don't know how you would test all the different ways a virus can come in, and all the different variants of each virus.

I've gone years without antivirus before with no problem. If you're smart about what you do online, and are skeptical of every link, and every download, then that is better than any antivirus. It also helps if you're the only one who uses the computer.

I don't use any on my personal computers either. An aware and educated user is far more powerful than the best antivirus tools.

*Anxiously awaiting the results*

If you don't download silly things, install silly things, or plug random USB drives into your pc, you will not get viruses.

No serious PC enthusiast would use antivirus on their personal machines.

I disagree. I would rather not risk access to financial records by malicious parties. My machine can easily handle even a resource intensive anti-virus program, so why not?
