Need urgent help with rebate

Thread Starter
So I'm about to send in for a rebate for my monitor, and I need to include a barcode label or as it says a "proof of purchase" that came on the box of my monitor. Will this make me not able to RMA the monitor? Will this label be ever needed? Thanks!

No worries, If you ever have to RMA the monitor they only require an invoice to verify the date of purchase.

I mean, who would expect you to keep a box for years anyway?

The UPC will not be required for future RMA or tech support with products.

Just think about this. The UPC is a sku, which is identical on every box. No distinguishing serial number or anything on it. It just proves that you bought this item.

I keep my boxes for everything, just for that reason. You have in your possession a box that is perfectly sized for that product. I really like it when I move so I have protection for my monitors instead of trying to jury rig something.

If I had the room to keep tons of boxes for electronics I would, but a bath towel and the back seat of my truck have never failed me yet.
