590 GTX microstuttering / dual gpu issues

Thread Starter
Hey all you new 590 GTX owners!

Have any of you had any issues with Micro-stuttering or incompatibility / driver issues from multi gpu card? I would like a little more oomph than my 580 gtx (I'm needy), but with rather stick with slightly lower settings and smooth performance than deal with stuttering

My thinking is any newer game should have decent dual gpu support and any old game should be fairly easy slaughterable with 1 gpu on the card if 2 won't work- so if I can't get multi gpu support in some of the older games it should be moot point

For microstuttering I am not so sure. I experienced this with my ATI 5850 CF and was not pleased.

soooo

What games are you playing and what issues / stuttering have you seen?

I've been playing COD black ops all morning and it is smooth as silk. Fully maxed out at 1920x1200 with vsync off I seem to have a constant 90 fps. I think something in the game is limiting it because my gpus arent at 100% and I've tryed different cpu clock speeds without a change.

Edit: found the roadblock on black ops. "com_maxfps" is 85 default.

Have you overclocked the card yet? How far can it go without voltage?

I would love to oc this thing but I'm playing it safe because of my psu. I think with stock voltage people are getting in the high 600's. With 1.00v people have been getting over 800mhz and with 1.2v people are frying their cards.
